mATX Semi-Budget Build

Hey all,

I'm looking to build something on a mATX chasis, primarily for gaming, and that doesn't have to be a world beater. Overclocking capabilities would be nice, but not a necessity. And I would like something that I can build up from, by possibly adding a beefier graphics card without being bottle necked elsewhere.

Here is the build I had in mind:
- i5-6600K 3.5GHz Processor
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
- MSI B150M BAZOOKA Micro ATX LGA 1151
- Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133
- Corsair 350D mATX Case
- EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply

I already have the following, that I plan to plug in for now but eventually replace:
- Western Digital VelociRaptor 600gb Hard Drive
- Asus HD 6950 2GB GDDR5

This brings the build total to about $650.

Suggestions?

EDIT: let's say that my end goal is to primarily run games smoothly at 1080p

You need a z170 motherboard to overclock, so either switch the motherboard or just accept no overclocking and drop the CPU to an i5 6500.

I would switch to a single stick of 8gb ram so you can slot a second in easily later.

I would swap to evga g2 p2 or GS power supply...much better. Or anything xfx or seasonic.
