it's quite an interesting product!

the R9 9955HX has a 55w TDP but on this board, Minisforum boosted it to 160w. hopefully the 13 phase VRM and 60A SPS DrMOS will be enough to manage that.

has 4x M.2 slots...one PCIe 5.0 and the rest are probably 4.0 and it also has two SATA III ports. the iGPU sucks, so you'll probably want to use one of the two PCIe x16 slots, one of which is 5.0 and the other 4.0. the back I/O has two USB 4, 1x DP, 1x HDMI and a 5Gb NiC with WiFi 7. doesn't mention Bluetooth, but it would be at least 5.3. there are 4 more ports that aren't identified, but the pic looks like one USB 3.x Type A, two 2.0 Type A and another USB-C.

the biggest concern would be that the forums are filling up with complaints and issues with Minisforum products and the lack of response / help from the company, so buyer beware.

Sounds like a typical mainland Chinese tech company. Keep pumping out stuff but lack support and maintenance.

At least they doing nice and new things? Break the mold. Like Jetway and Biostar (both companies I really like) used to make. Niche products maybe, but I always liked them and other companies that try these things.

Still waiting on a board, an affordable board hopefully, for my APU gamer build. Got a great case already set aside, and pretty much Everything else too.

Cmoonnnn Ryzen Max + 8060s APUs!
