I tried cleaning my Rival 3's scroll wheel last time by heating up the mouse feet and removing them to get at the screws. After putting them on, I notice they are pretty chewed up from the removal and reinstall process. Does anyone in the community use after market generic mouse glider dots? Frankly, I don't know what I'm looking at beside price (ie, material? brand?). Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I tried slippery tape from Amazon before, only used them once and then the rest of the tape dried out. Seem like a waste just for 1 mouse.

I end up ordering Obsidian Control Skakes DIY donuts. With shipping and tax, it came out to $23 CAD for a pack of 32 dots. I'll post pictures once I have them on the mouse. The dimensions seems like it's small enough to fit into the feet resets with the donuts part still let me access the screws.

did you get the short skates or the long high speed skates?

If you plan on reusing things like feet often you need to drip in things like isopropyl to loosen the adhesive otherwise physical damage is almost always guaranteed for those kinds of things.
