Mouse recommendations for claw grip? I think...

TL;DR: Do you guys have any recommendations for a wireless mouse you've found good for a more claw grip position?

I'm on my second Logitech wireless mouse, first the G602 and now the G604, and they appear to be having the same issue that is starting to point the finger back at me rather than a mechanical problem.

The left click button performance is inconsistent, and tends to drop especially when I am clicking and holding to drag items. Very annoying when organizing files and emails and you don't know where the email actually dropped!

I thought on the G602 that it was old enough that the mouse button was just failing. But the G604 is not very old and I am having the same issue. I noticed that my hand position naturally ends up being closer to a claw grip, and that got me thinking that perhaps the mouse button action is designed to be pressed more from a palm position where you'd be clicking the button farther towards the forward end of the button rather than where I normally end up, middle to the back. Hopefully you can follow that.

I did Google of course and a top one from RTings.com is the Endgame Gear XM2we (https://www.rtings.com/mouse/reviews/endgame-gear/xm2we#page-top) and that might be worth trying, but I've never heard of it before.

UPDATE: I noticed that perhaps my periods of dropped mouse clicks could be coincident with the 100% drive use periods I see on the OS drive. I need to get that cloned on the new WD NVMe to see if that resolves this 100% usage spikes. Could be I'm looking in the wrong direction, but do still provide your mouse opinions!

smaller mouse for claw grip and reasonable price...g305? I have been very impressed with my son's (especially when you consider the price).

I claw grip and have enjoyed the ROG Chakram. Has easily replaceable switches.
That one looks similar in shape to what I'm currently running. Interesting though. I've never had a ROG mouse.

I actually just bought one of those for my daughter! I should perhaps test it out. It is certainly shorter than my current one. Hard to beat the price.

I was also wondering about the Logitech G303 Shroud. I have no idea who he is lol but the mouse looks interesting and caters to claw, fingertip grip it seems.

The Logitech stuff is on sale right now too.

I'd love to help out but I'm apparently very unique in my mouse method. I can't even find the term for it - my palm is on the mouse pad, not the mouse, and I use a tiny Razer Viper Mini.

Only thing I can suggest it a wired mouse: I just don't want a wireless connection for something so important, YMMV 🤷‍♂️

I ordered one of a G305. Thanks for the reminder! Can't beat the $49 CAD on sale to test out my theory. I'll give Logitech another try.

Thanks all for the input!

The Shroud looked good too, but I actually prefer a swappable rechargeable battery rather than having to plug it in to charge, so I decided against the Shroud.
