Alright nerds and nerdettes.. Need help as I need a new mouse and I have very specific needs.

Need 1: No RGB
Need 2: Corded
Need 3: Dark Color
Need 4: NO SOFTWARE! None.
Need 5: Manual DPI button

If the mouse has an option on the device itself to disable RGB that will be fine. But I do not want to have to install any software to deal with stupid things like changing RBG values or DPI settings.

I have been running these Dell mice now but unfortunately the right click button fails on them and well I went through my last one so now I need a new one.

Gonna be hard to find a decent one with adjustable DPI without RGB. Buy an RGB one and cut a lead to the LED's if you don't want to install the software to turn off the lights. I use a G502 at work, and the RGB logo is under my palm so I don't even notice it.

That being said there's a few cheapo ones on Amazon that are adjustable.

Yeah then you walk away and the RGB is still on and lighting up the room. I may need to cut the RGB out but that still leaves the fact mice need software to adjust DPI settings which is stupid.

zy's rail is decent all manual and I think the rgb can be disabled.

Hmm never used a perforated mouse before and I feel with having a dog and a Santa Beard it would get messy fast.

I have a logitech g305. It doesn’t have wires. It has a dpi button, and it’s black.

So looks like the G203 might be an option. It seems Logitech has a "onboard" memory feature which can save settings so you don't need the software.

Has anyone used this and can provide feedback?

I have a dog and a beard, it's not an issue.

What you want is the Logitech MX518 Legendary. It has everything you're looking for.
