Been out of used parts market for a while.
What would be the going rate for a lightly used MSI Gaming X Slim 4070. Clean in box.

Thanks

Ebay showing completed transaction price of as low as $660 (outlier) and as high as $1200. $800 to $900 seem like a good range but I see people paying as much as $1.5K for brand new as recent as March 18, 2025. Lowest retail price is $830 within 1 year period. So for $800 range pre-tax, I'm seeing RX 7800XT, 5060Ti 16GB and 5070 12GB. Cheapest Radeon RX 9070 is the Sapphire PURE at $990 and the 9070XT at $1K.

Considering the performance and age, may be $700 to $750? At $750, the 9070XT is about 20% to 30% faster but at 50% more (including BC tax of 12%) in RT average. In non-RT, it's about 45% faster average according to HUB. Personally, I may just save up 2 extra paycheck and get the 9070XT, 12GB of VRAM is pretty iffy these days.

I had a 4070 Super OC in RFD, HWC, FBM and Craigslist for a long time and I couldnt even get $700-800. Ended up selling it as part of a system. And my card was less than two months old.

I should also add, that I bought it for $839. So maybe around $675 or about 20% off was a more reasonable ask.
