MSI Talks CAMM2 DDR5 Memory for Desktop
Leading manufacturers, including MSI, ASRock, and ASUS, have introduced CAMM2 memory for desktop computers. At the Taipei Computer Show in June, these companies unveiled specialized Intel motherboards compatible with CAMM2 memory, signaling a shift in desktop computing technology.
I think this will be a big win for the industrial complex, EDGE devices and by extension, the miniPC community and those who love to cram as much performance as possible into the smallest space using thin profile ITX boards.
one of the standout bits in this article is how the CAMM2 socket is use replaceable...you don't have to send a board back to the MFR if the DIMM / SODIMM slots get damaged somehow.
