Need general recommendations for Lappy

Yeah, it's unbelievable what kind of processing power you can pick up in a laptop for a decent price if you're not overly concerned about gaming performance.

I'd have a hard time putting together a C2D desktop system with a legal OS and a CRT monitor for that kind of change!!!! :)
 
That's the reason why I suggest to most of my clients a laptop: it can suit their needs way more than any desktop could, for the same budget. Gaming is not an option though.

No argument from me Toshiba makes a good machine. x3100 is the newer intel gfx and although it is not great for gaming it will certainly let you play HL2 and some other older titles at low settings. Nice price congrats. :thumb:
