Ok, my system is:
CPU: E8400@ 3.00GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX560
RAM: Corsair TWIN2X4096-8500C5 XMS2 4GB (two 2GB sticks)
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L
HDD: WD 500GB Caviar Black
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-550VX
OS: Win7Home Premium SP1

I have been constantly getting BSODs (while playing games or just regular desktop browsing) with the same error:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)

and all the memory dumps from crashes point to memory_corruption and occasional Windows kernel files, as
the root of the problem.

Here's what I have tried so for to figure out the cause(with no luck)

1. Clean reinstall of Windows with all the important updates installed through windows update (including
SP1)
2. Downloaded latest chipset(from Intel) + GPU(from nvidia[whql]) drivers
3. Ran memtest86 for 9+ hours (10 pass) with 0 errors
4. Did CHKDSK /r with 0 errors
5. Updated the BIOS to the latest version (through Gigabyte's website)
6. Ran WD HDD diagnostics tool with 0 errors
7. Loaded BIOS defaults with 0 overclocks present in the system.
8. Driver verifier did not return anything

I am running out of options right now !!! I do not know what to do !

I am attacking all the memory dumps that I've gathered.

I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OUT !!!???

THANK YOU !

99% of the time you should be checking your ram

That's what was my conclusion as well.

I was thinking... I read a lot complains for my RAM, especially here:

Newegg.ca - CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-8500C5

for not being stable at rated speeds, 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.1v that is.

So, maybe if I downclock the RAM from 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.1v to 800Mhz 5-5-5-15 1.8v it could help ?

I dunno, it could be that.

What do you mean "can be off" ? How can I fix it ?

Already did that in DOS with the correct Rev#(i.e. 1.0) of my mobo, had no effect.
