I am build my computer it was all done booted up the first time saw the bios and post an than with my boot disk in i get the error, "disk boot failed insert system disk and press enter" what the? I have my Windows 7 beta DVD than i tried my Windows XP CD to no use.

I tried restarting the system to change the boot configs no use after a few times of restarting the system boot did no show up on the screen. So i went into my case fixed some wires restarted the PSU no showing up on the screen i was puzzled.
Whats going on i am worried, when i press the power everything works but it won't show on the screen and even after it shows i get the error "disk boot failed insert system disk and press enter".

I am 2x IDE hdd's and a CD-RW/DVD(read only) disk drive.

How are you running 3X ide drives on a new motherboard? Do you have another drive to try? Sounds to me like it might be a problem with the ODD.

When i was installing everything, i was using a anti-static band. I tried both Windows 7 and XP and got the same error. I tried changing the boot configs did not work ether.

3 IDE thing's well i was using IDE Controller Card installed into a PCI Express slot.

Did you try with just 1 hdd + the ODD off of the board's IDE port? Do you have the ability to test the ODD on a different system?

Yes the ODD was from a older computer, and yes i tried different configurations. Now i got another problem. I restarted the Computer alot trying to get into the BIOS after the 5th try the computer started but i saw no visual screen! So it powers up i see lights and stuff but the heastsink fan is not running and the bios boot is not even showing up now on the screen!

Black i think.... see the thing is if i did green to green on the motherboard, i would have not enough cable to connect both HDD and ODD.

Do the colors on the IDE cable mean somthing?

If you're not seeing anything on the screen and the heatsink fan isn't running, it's time to have a look at this....

Yep, perfectly understandable. Make sure you find out what the issue was for the next build. (It'd be great if you let us know as well.... ;) ).
