Honestly, I would love Cases done this way.
You could partially assemble the frame, and slowly add bits to it as time goes on in the build so you have more room to work with.
I remember de-riviting an old case because I could then access more of it than what I could get my hands on originally.

HWC did a review on a flat-pack ITX case by Teenage Engineering (also from Sweden, like IKEA and Fractal) -

perhaps it was the 60's then...but I didn't say euro-styling. I get big IKEA vibes off that chassis.
Funny you think that, I know the designer and he is from Sweden working for the very Swedish company 😂

I really like what they came up, it's a nice change.
