I have decided my new build. It’s going to be a gaming pc and my budget is 5000dollars including the monitors and keyboard. I have headphones and mouse so I don’t need to buy a new one. I have my choice in pictures. Any suggestions? I’m pretty sure all these parts match8063D0F5-4CE9-4675-BAEC-D9B76AD03108.png8839C2AE-2EE0-4344-8F9E-FDF36C8060C9.pngC6A9D651-5C7E-4339-9305-7252C6518AF5.pngC6A9D651-5C7E-4339-9305-7252C6518AF5.png

Oh by the way I also need to buy a Xbox controller, which I decided to be elite 2 and already pre-ordered it.

I did research and found out that the ASUS ROG STRIX is the best one out of all 2080ti.

I am going to get these on Black Friday for a price off if possible, is there normally a price off? I’m not really sure how Black Fridays work

Go with Seasonic instead for PSU. Thermal paste is questionable IMO, I would go with tested stuff like Arctic MX-4 or Thermal Grizzly. Switch the SSD to a Samsung 960 EVO or Pro. Here's my build based on some of the items you set your eyes on.

I think you can go down to 850W PSU for this build, 1200W seem a bit over kill. You still got $2K left so may be invest in a backup battery? I also didn't include a monitor since I don't know anything about them.

Thanks. So no thermal paste? Cool. Thank you very much. I definitely have enough time and bucks to get the upcoming 3950x. Is it going to be better than i9 9900k or kf

By the way is i9 9900k better or i9 9900kf? Or should I wait for the Ryzen 3950x? Again I can afford them no cost considered(okay actually a little, i’m Not that rich...)

9900KF is just 9900K without the onboard GPU. You're gaming on a 2080TI anyway so why bother with onboard graphics? Or you can wait for 9900KS which is pre-overclocked to 5GHz out of the box. R9 3950X isn't coming until Nov so can't really recommend that yet. Also, pure gaming wise, Intel is fastest.

To be honest, the value of the 9900K/KF doesn't seem that good. You are only like 5 to 10 FPS ahead compare to an AMD 3700X system.

Moocow’s recommendations are solid. I would not use the insignia thermal compound either. The AIO cooler should have paste preapplied or supplied if you don’t want to mess with buying it etc. With your budget I would build something very similar to his AMD build recommendation. I also concur that I would go down to an 850watt power supply...more isn't always better. If you feel you want a higher wattage just because, the 1000 Watt is massive overkill...don’t go 1200.
