New HDD

Okay, this isn't a troubleshooting question per se, but I just bought a new HDD and.. "installed" it. By installing it I mean that I sort of threw it into the case and it's more or less free-floating and isn't screwed in. Normally I wouldn't do this, but I'm buying a new case soon and I didn't really feel like taking everything out just to get the HDD in there. Is this inherently dangerous? I'm not moving the case around and it's still fairly secure because of how it's sitting with the cables, but I just wanted to double-check.

Although I wouldn't do that personally per-se, so long as your not moving the case around the HDD should be fine.
