Hi, I want to buy a pair of headphones for PC and laptop, but I'm undecided (I'd prefer wired, and the budget would be around 100 euros +-20-30, wireless ones would also work if I fit in). I would be more interested in Sennheiser, being one of the best on the audio side, but I see that the last reviews are 3-4-5 years old and other models have appeared. From what I saw, would the GAME One/ 0 series be the best or are there better ones, I saw that Dmitri used the 300 series? Or maybe you can recommend me others. I looked at the HyperX Cloud Alpha S or LOGITECH PRO series, but I understood that 7.1 in most cases distorts either audio/microphone and is more marketing. Tnx for help :D

I have a Sennheiser PC350 with the so-called "heroic" mod that I sometimes use. Basically I carefully drilled into back of the speaker surround to turn it from a sealed speaker into a semi-open one - the goal being to get better low bass response.

More recently though I bought a couple of Beyerdynamic Custom headphones. These are fantastic because they have a slider which can open/close the speaker for very easy and fast bass control without being active (no batteries). For an semi-audiophile they're fantastic because you can quickly change them from being optimized for music or for gaming with just a click or two of the slider.

Either is a fairly inexpensive option, but Beyerdynamics are hard to find. I'd avoid Logitech / HyperX headphones as I've never seen headphones from either that are above what I would call mediocre quality. They're flashy headphones for budgeted gamers and don't offer very good nor balanced sound for music.

I'm.happy with my Logitech pros. The mic on them is really good.

Don't ask questions, just get them, I even sold my DT880s because they are so close to them and have a mic. You could try the lower model as well if its too pricey.
