I also think sticking with a 6800XT makes it more justifiable upgrading in two or three years. I'd like to think with competition as it is there'll be some Leaps and Bounds with GPU specs!

Just wondering out loud if I did myself a disservice by turning down a Sapphire Nitro + 6900XT!....?

I'm going to stick out waiting for an Aorus 6800XT Master. That's $400 savings I could use elsewhere I guess.....yep

Still, I'm feeling somewhat deflated😏
I also think you made the right call based on the info you gave. It is a substantial increase in cost for a fairly small gain going to the 6900XT. If you think the 6800XT is enough GPU for you for now, you would be better off using the money towards an earlier upgrade when then time comes (IMO).

I said from the get-go that I'm here to share and to learn and I continue to do so. For that I say thank you again all!

I'm humming and hawing over a decision I still have time to make. When my Aorus 6800xt Master GPU arrives do I get the extended replacement plan? Basically $160 for two years or $180 for three. The card has a 4 year warranty! On select components on this build I did get the offered plan. What would you do on a GPU purchase now a days? Thoughts?

I have never paid for extra warranty...if the warranty is insufficient, I would buy a different brand.

A few more photos and my thoughts will follow in the near future.
Oh, that's the 6800 next to an Asus 1660Ti Advanced.
