New TV advice

I am seriously thinking of replacing my Plasma TV, which serves as the monitor for my Plex serve, as it gives off far too much for the room it's now in. AC is not supper effective on the second floor.

Going though the options at Costco- love their warranty- I settled on the 75" Sony X90k. It did well on rtings.com, but a fair number of Youtubers shit all over it (and Sony, in general).

What do people think? Budget is roughly $2500.

I had good luck with Sony, still have my "Z" series 46" from 2008. LG C1 are recommended a lot too, from what I was reading.

I've had a Sony for two years almost and it's been great. It's a great looking TV.

That Panasonic looks nice. So does the Sony. So Does the LG. And the Samsung looks nice too. LOL.

Cant find the Panasonic anywhere.

Probably the LG for bang for buck.

You won't be disappointed with the Sony from your 1st post. Besides, it's Costco... If you really don't like it bring it back.

While not quite as good as a real fireplace....

You can't beat the plasma for the Christmas fireplace channel. It looks good and it feels good too.!

I've always liked how Sony's image processing looks, but I suppose that generally makes them not great as gaming TVs.

As for the YouTubers, could just be that Sony doesn't pay them and other companies do

Besides, it's Costco... If you really don't like it bring it back.

If it fits in the car, not sure if Costco accepts returns that are in pieces.

I seem to recall that the x90K is greatly improved when it come to gaming.


The only other option, in my price range, is the 65" LG C2.
