I understand your point of view. Just trying to save ya some money. The parts I'm selling all work.

Oh it's not that I distrust that they're good parts, it's just for my own peace of mind. I prefer to pay a bit more and know exactly what I'm getting straight from the store.

Damn, I screwed up. This is the card you want: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=27704&vpn=512-P3-N801-AR&manufacture=eVGA&promoid=1046. A 8800GT with 512Mb of ram.

Ah, thanks. Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between 256Mb and 512Mb? How much of an effect does it have on performance?

That's cool. I didn't take any offence. You will be happy with that Gigabyte board. The reason I'm selling mine is cause I want something different, I want to go SLI.

And thanks for the offer BALISTX, but I'd prefer to get my parts new. Kinda paranoid about used parts.

HELL YAh! Especially coming from a place where everyone showingup here is pushing hardware to ungodly speeds :bleh: Its kinda like me asking you this ---
Wanna buy my subaru WRX? It was only supercharged, NOS injected, than ran around a track at over 250 KM  But the upside is, the hardware is like only 2 months old:canadianwave:

I haven't pushed my E2140 to ungodly speeds.

I totally get what you mean. Most people who come one here and buy parts off other members know what they are getting.

Mobo-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=29440 $209.99
Ram-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=21623&vpn=OCZ2N1066SR2GK&manufacture=OCZ Technology $84.99
CPU-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=29805&promoid=1046 $129.98
Case-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=21123&vpn=NINE HUNDRED&manufacture=ANTEC $92.37
PSU-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=23934&vpn=OCZ600SXS&manufacture=OCZ Technology $79.99
HDD-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=18409&vpn=ST3320620AS&manufacture=Seagate $63.78
Video card-http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=27704&vpn=512-P3-N801-AR&manufacture=eVGA $169.99

Total: $831.09
Less Mail in rebate: Mobo-$20
Ram-$40
PSU-$25
Video card-$20

Rebate total: $105

Grand Total: $726.09

Differences from budget:
$800-726.09
=73.91

Tax and shipping should not exceed $73.91

Advantages:
-motherboard is great at overclocking, SLI
Review
-Good ram, dunno about SLI, but at least its good and cheap, and it looks nice.
-45nm CPU, could reach 4GHz, no problem.
Review
-Great case for Air, looks cool.
-Good PSU, 600W should support future SLI upgrade.
-320GB HDD, more then enough
-video card is great, could run Age of conan on high, with pretty good FPS, should play the game u listed at MAX MAX.

A CPU cooler should not be needed unless you plan to overclock, but apprently you are not planning to overclock. Stock cooler should be more then enough.

The mobo and case is a combo deal, so you save some $$ on the case.

What was suggested was fine of course, but you probably should jump on the 64 bit Vista boat... 4gb of ram + whatever will be on your video card, you posted on a forum all by yourself so I can gather you're more computer savy then 90% of the people who own a computer. So I think you can handle it. Maybe it was an oversight on Charlie's part maybe not.. But I still recommend it.
