A quick read stating that it is supposedly confirmed that meteor lake CPUs coming in 2024 will not have any desktop models. Meteor lake focused on efficiency and iGPU, vice increased performance. Any reference to desktop for it in the past was more implied towards AIO computers etc (using mobile chips, not socketed ones).

I guess that means the upcoming raptor lake refresh will be it for desktop intel in 2024... I hope its not true or that I am missing something, as that is kind of a boring year for intel CPUs if true.

this has been the assumed for quite some time. from the performance leaks, ML doesn't appear to be all that exciting though...but it is early to make judgement quite yet.

edit - actually, it will be available for some desktop form factors, but still the mobile variant.
