Cool Mars! I'm fairly certain you could just put your videocard into the x8 PCIe slot, and not have to use the cable/adapter. I think the back of that 8x slot is cut open so that any larger card should fit in it and work.
I'm local, and I would be interested in this for my brother, he's been wanting a gaming PC for a while. However, I'm not going to call dibs or anything, since I think the more noble thing to do is fold with it. So, I'll simply throw my hat in the ring in case you don't find anyone who wants it for a folding machine. Let me know!
