Nvidia facing anti-trust lawsuit in France

This was originally reported in the news back in early July 2024 but just caught wind of it on GN's news now. Basically, France is concern about how CUDA only works with Nvidia and their investment in could service providers such as CoreWeave.

AMD on the other hand purchased a few AI companies too.

interesting. Nvidia is a lot like Apple and tries to keep everything close walled so you're trapped in their garden. AMD has been pretty good about stuff like that. while there is some IP they protect, they've open sourced quite a bit of it too.
They are very much like Apple in some ways. I won’t be surprised if the EU ends up on the anticompetitive path against nvidia at some point

I don't recall anything about the EU going after Intel recently. it's obvious to me that Intel is leveraging it's influence to minimize AMD's chance of success by the specs of a lot of AMD products vs. Intel where AMD have stuff that's been nerfed for absolutely no reason, while Intel has not and has the best of the best.
