Nvidia RTX 3070 Gets AMD Treatment! - AMD Mining GPU Come From WHERE ?

Let’s get started with Nvidia, and by Nvidia, I mean a fellow YouTuber who once again broke Nvidia’s rules. You remember a few months ago when a YouTuber called Vik decided to upgrade his 2070 to go from 8gb of GDDR6 to 16?... It worked last time, but unfortunately, it didn’t perform very well in benchmarking. It was something like 20-30% slower.

Well, the mad lad decided to do it again. This time with an RTX 3070. Yes, you have your first, or second look if you’ve seen the video before, at an RTX 3070 16GB.

So what’s so interesting about this ? Well, first of all, the RTX 3070ti or 16GB has been a rumor for a long time, and this mod proves that it was actually considered as an option. You see, you cant just take bigger VRAM, or more VRAM chips and just tack em on a GPU and expect it to work. Everything needs to work, or have worked together before for it to work now on a modded card. Things like the brand of Memory chip, the Vram timings, the jumpers on the board, the Vbios and Drivers, all have to be in line.
