I have a Logitech Wingman Extreme. Its a good joystick that still uses an old game port but came with a usb adapter (which I still have). The game I want to play is an age old game called Hellbender (1996). The problem is that even with the drivers for the joystick, the joystick refuses to work with the game and the game refuses to recognize anything but my keyboard. Is there any way to get the joystick to work with the game? If it involves programming your gonna have to walk me through it.
EDIT: my computer also will not recognize the joystick when connected directly to the gameport on my creative labs SB Live! Value.
