what about flushing it with super hot boiling water first? get rid of the majority so the brushing can be even lighter?
Im not putting anything highly conductive like water ( o_O) near a $800 CPU. One drop not 1000000% dry and you're frying that thing.

99 ISO and ultra soft brush.

That being said, like a few others and 3.0 , I managed to nuke a CPU once myself from mishandling.

I have a ultra fine toothbrush and this to try next I got this far with a toothpick hoping this gets the last bit.

I thought the pins were like Intel brittle and weak as straw I was wrong toothbrush worked perfectly

I'll have to order a board now to test seen a Asus board itx x570
