Opinions & Advice First Computer Build

I'm attempting my first Gaming Computer Build. I would like your opinions and advice for my System.
it will be used for Sim Racing, mainly iRacing and also for AutoCad.
My budget is around $ 1,800 to $ 2,000.
I will be buying all of the componets in the USA.
I have researched all of the componets from numerous sites. Read a lot of reviews.
I would like to upgrade the CPU and add a second Video Card later on.
I also want to run three Monitors when I can afford to buy two more.
I have never overclocked a system but would like to try it.
I am going to buy the componets hopefully within a week from today.
The Monitor I picked has a suggested resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Have not selected a keyboard or mouse yet

Any Cost Cutting suggestions would be welcome also.
One of the reasons I went with the 6970 card was it is supposed to be one of the better cards for Crossfire setup.

You could drop the sound card for now until you determine whether you are satisfied with onboard or not. Also, while the 212 is a good bang for the buck cooler, you may want something more robust for overclocking. I will let all the 2500 owners chime in there.

Agree with dropping the sound card (add it if you feel the need after you try onboard...its fine for 99% of people). I believe AutoCAD should be able to handle multiple threads well. If that is the case you may want to go for a 2600k processor.

It's a great build. You can easily get the 2500k to 4.4-4.5ghz with that cooler anyway.

Btw if you plan to Overclock populated only 2 memory slots, not all 4, if you don't then it's not important..

Perhaps a corsair H100 cooler would offer a bit better cooling than the H212
