As a last resort, if you haven't done so already, you might consider these options in your BIOS:

Static Read Control: Disabled
Clocktwister: Light/Moderate
Transaction Booster: Relaxed

I've found these options are all capable of crashing my computer on higher settings, but their benefit is kind of minimal outside of a couple sythetic benchmarks.

To get the correct GTL settings, sacrifice a cat, check the horoscopes, and wait for the stars to be right. Or just try different options and see if one of them helps. Seriously, I have no clue how to determine the correct setting, BUT some options work better than others, possibly getting you a little extra. Trial and error all the way, as far as I can tell.

I wish the Maximus had clock skew options. I'm pretty sure I could squeeze a little more out of my chip if it did.
