My friend is running a warrior. Challenging for sure as it's likely the class in the worst place atm for both survivability and damage. They really need to fix the 'armor' stat as it's horribly underpowered.

I'm curious what everyone is playing for classes?

I started a ranger but quickly moved to a witch, who's now my main as a summoner. It's had its challenges, but overall not a bad class to learn the game. Now that she's 90, she's hit a brick wall for leveling. A full T15 map clear only nets about 5% of a level at this point. I'll likely make a run for some pinnacle fights, but then it's time for me to try something else.

I'm thinking about either the monk or the Merc. My biggest concern is gameplay for a mouse-mover. But I'll only know if I try it.

I still just have the Monk and for me it took some learning but I quite like the class now.

out of all the classes I have played once my monk hit around level 14 it became very good all the way through to the beginning of end game now it has issues because of my resistances are very bad.
My first toon was a warrior, but I sucked, so I literally deleted him made a ranger got stuck very early on on game went to witch summoner infernalist which she did great but she is stuck midlate act2 cruel, I think its the way I have built her she can't handle any hits at all, and also I have impatience playing so that really doesnt help I started a sparky witch and she got stuck, and I wrote about a kind of bug on what happened with her in act 3, so then I went to monk mostly ice and electricity its right now my best toon and like i have mention in other posts its stuck mapping very early game mapping but the play style is more to my likeing its aggressive in your face type play style unlike my Sumner where I need to be paient and tha tI can do except for when doing some bosses where I jus tcant get out of the way fast enough lol same issue with my sparky sorc.
I did startt a witch I am wanting to make into a blood wittch doggn the dtonate dead thing I watched a persons play through the thing is with a blood withc and what he did was he didnt really start tha tbuild until he was around level 50 maybe hire he pretty much diod a monk build on the witch because it could fly though all the acts into tghe start of endgame he als odid it playing solo witxch is also how I play but Iam sort of cheating using things I have found on other toons lol
I cant believe tha tIO have run out of stash space I bought some extra space but it seems that the ones I bought are not the ones I wanted I wanted the ones where each space the sqaurs in them ar esmall but mine are regular size which mean it holds less things and me being a bit of a hoarder because I am still figuring out, because I want to play more, what is decent and what is decent and what is total crap has become an issue for me hehe

The stash tabs you're looking for are 'quad stash tabs'.

The most valuable stash tabs are the gem and currency ones by far, since they have unlimited space for those items.

For every class/ascendancy there's 3 stages of play. (early/mid/end game) Each stage typically has a very distinct play style. Typically, end game builds require a large gear investment and aren't relevant until at least lvl 80 due to point requirements. So if you're looking up builds, watch for the requirements.

I haven't invested in stash tabs yet, but I can certainly see that I will be doing it as I get farther into the game.

You guys might have mentioned this already (apologies if I missed it) but is content in stash tab accessible across characters or is the stash tab unique to each character; that is if I started a new character it would have a stash tab but it would be empty?

I could not beat the last 2 act 3 bosses with the witch, just didn't have the DPS needed for single target battles so the fights drug on too long. Ended up asking general chat for a hand to push through those 2 fights, 90+ characters helped me each time. Boss basically dead before I could blink.

Walked through act 1 cruel with very little difficulty. The count stalled me a little but remembering to put an ice charm back on helped a lot.

Yes, content is accessible across all characters. So you can build up skill gems, currency, gear, etc and your other toons can use it. Additionally, when the game goes to final release, you'll see fresh tabs whenever a new season starts if you roll a new character, but your old stuff will stay in the persistent realm.

What build are you running with the witch? I actually found the story to be pretty basic with the build I'm running. (Arsonist summoner) Essentially I stacked as much +minion skill and spirit as I could and made sure I had a sceptre with '+allies damage %' on it. I think during the campaign I had about 9 arsonists plus the 2 warriors from sceptre and a cleric summoned. Flame wall with raging spirits is also key. I couldn't get corpse explosion to work for me, so instead I went with Unearth for temporary minions.

I essentially cast flame wall (with fortress) to summon raging spirits and add fire damage to mobs. My arsonists go to town, and when there's a few corpses on the ground I cast unearth to summon small, disposable minions. The unearth minions essentially are only there to distract mobs so they don't target the arsonists. When I fight a named or boss, I throw down a flammability curse and that's basically it. For really tough fights, I add pain offering to boost dps, but it's rarely needed.

For survivability, it's an absolute must to build your energy shield and get grim feast. This is one of the most broken skills in the game. Add in a shield with 'wide barrier' from the skill tree and you're VERY hard to kill.

Chaos DoTs right now with some minion skills. Combined with the weak to chaos curse and having the modifier for the curse to explode swams of mobs just disappear in a chain reaction in a blink. Just poor with the HP pools the bosses have. Actually the first upgrade I got in cruel doubled the DPS of my primary weapon. That alone helped a lot with the cruel bosses. Might have helped a lot in act 3. I actually skipped the Gold golem guy thing. Couldn't kill him before running out of space. Destroyed him going back with the weapon.

if your toons are all playing in the same rel;am type tall toons can access the same stashed stuff but if a toon is in hardcore but the others are in different not hard core the hard core toon will not be able to see the stuff in stash, same goes for solo every playing in that realm type can see use stashed items but a none solo south would not see them, I learned that when I first started lol
