My suggestion is to wait on the 64gb and instead go for 32gb. I have seen reports that memory should dropping in price, but of course there are never any guarantees.

Generally the notion was that 16-16-16-36 was likely to be Samsung B-Die. The 16-19-19-39 kits were Micron C-Die I think? Who knows what chips are being used these days though...

I think you could have saved the $100 unless you are really into tweaking memory. If so, then hopefully it's still B-Die.

Hey, like my previous Ram I'm hoping this is indeed Samsung B die. It is in the back of my mind having the potential to tweak timings further down the road when necessary? Thank you all once again for your thoughts!

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I did the same. And my 5950X (or my Gigabyte motherboard?) won't go past 3733MHz anyways. And this CPU that I thought would last many years is now falling behind rapidly in gaming performance :rolleyes:

Ah well, live and learn!
