I have never figured out how to block those types of websites , in some similar websites there can be a small check mark that lets you not sign up . on a side not I have most my web browsers, I use three different web browsers to check if the pope ups still happen and other tests, I set up to automatically clear cookies and cache and other things when I close the browser.
I just opened FF on toms hardware , pc gamer and have no popups.

I run Adguard and have for a very long time and I get those pop up's as well when I'm on their sites,my guess is they aren't considered ad's by pop up blockers.

With some of the sites I go onto where they have the gambling pop up's or porn site pop up's or whatever BS they want you to spend your money on,I got Adguard about 7 or 8 years ago after trying a cracked version of it and wanted to make sure it worked and all I can say is it sure does,I purchased a legit copy and glad I did.

I like that you can use it on any 3 device's with the plan I got and the key is a lifetime key as well if you buy the right plan,I always found the paid pop up's mess with your registry more then anything.

I use CCleaner it wipes cookies and temporary files , All of your saved game passwords are likely disappear also. :)
