My Hackintosh is acting weird lately. The following problems were observed:

1. Access DVD-rom cause lock up.
2. Very very slow boot up.
3. BIOS suddenly threw up errors saying something along the line that it didn't boot up properly. I haven't touched to BIOS in months.
4. Sometime the DVD is just not visible in OSX but detected in AHCI boot up.

The only hardware change during the OSX upgrade was adding more RAM that is rated at 5-5-5 but mixed with 1.9V and 1.8V. I was running all the RAM at 1.9V and no OC otherwise. Am I looking at a dying motherboard or possible dying PSU? I do have one of those Antec simple PSU tester.

Agreed with kapt. Sounds like the CMOS Battery may be low on power. Cheap fix for you hopefully. Let us know.
