I just realized I've been water cooling PC's for over a decade now, so I thought I'd share a little bit of my build history through photos.
My first entry into water cooling was actually a Thermaltake Kandalf LCS case way back in 2006. I couldnt find any pictures of the original setup, but I do have a bunch of everything I've done since.
Custom watercooling in a Thermaltake Kandalf LCS case
Not 100% sure on the hardware, but I think this was a Core 2 Quad Q6600 on an EVGA 680i SLI mobo with a 8800GTX. Might be a C2D E6300... dont remember exactly when I upgraded the CPU. I dumped all the stock Thermaltake water cooling parts and went fully custom. I'm still rocking this same D5 Vario to this day! I have had to replace the impeller once, but damn these pumps are bulletproof.
Watercooled Moneual Moncaso 932B HTPC
Easily my biggest "waste of money" system ever. Just the Moncaso 932B HTPC Case was something obscene like $700. Dont get me wrong, it was beautiful with its built-in 7" touchscreen, just stupid expensive. This one was my first foray into video card water cooling, with an EK full cover block on a EVGA 8800GT. Otherwise I think this was a Core 2 Duo E6300 on an Asus P5E-VM HDMI mobo.
Watercooled Coolermaster Cosmos S (Version 1)
This one started as a transplant of the system that was in the Kandalf LCS above. C2Q6600, 680i SLI, 8800GTX. I later upgraded the system to a QX6850 and EVGA 790i mobo.
Watercooled Coolermaster Cosmos S (Version 2)
Enter the Core i7! Intel i7 920 D0, Gigabyte X58-UD5 and a watercooled EVGA GTX 280.
Watercooled Corsair Obsidian 800D (Version 1)
Mobo transplanted from the Cosmos S build, CPU upgraded to i7 970 and vid card upgraded to XFX Radeon 5870. Video card was later upgraded to a full cover XSPC Razor 5870 block as well.
Watercooled Corsair Obsidian 800D (Version 2)
Upgraded (or lateral moved???) to an i7 3770K and Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H mobo. Vid card upgraded to EVGA GTX 580 with a full cover XSPC Razor block.
Watercooled Corsair Obsidian 800D (Version 3)
CPU, mobo and vid card all the same as V3. Changed water cooling from a Primochill Myriad res/pump combo to an XSPC dual-bay D5 reservoir, and went orange on the tubing.
Watercooled Thermaltake Suppressor F31
This system is still a bit of a work in progress. I've got an ongoing build log posted here on HWC.
All new hardware for this one. Asus Sabertooth X99, i7-5930k and EVGA GTX 970. Next step is changing over to PETG hard tube.
