I'm using up parts I already have....the only thing I need to actually buy is the psu (27volts , 35 amps) 400$ ....I'm lining up a 350 amp TIG unit to do the welding ,copper is on the way,makin the box should be easy.
I'm basically doing what you wanted to Deano.
Solid state cooler for watercooling.
Here's the estimated specs on this unit :
18"x5"x2" total size/no insulation
My custom cables from Mod-One are being built .I have found some better data cables as well.
I was not able to find a big enough welder to do copper.I'm using Aluminum instead to fabricate the cooler/reservoir......I have the BSPP taps for the watercooling fittings.I have managed to use mostly fittings Deano gave me....putting together a Dazmode order now.
I have the 1000W 27v/35 amp PSU ordered.
I'm in the process of disassembly right now so I can drill holes etc...
You guys are so patient with the no pic updates.
Got my first order from Mod-One in and installed.Order #2 is on the way...
Peltier PSU is here , cooler assembly is all together except insulation.Look here !
Please forgive the 'yellow' in those pics......bad white balance.
edit 2 : the first run of this unit is as follows ;
Peltier voltage 30 volts , 34 amps.....power at the plug was 1160 watts.It did not frost up, but then it's designed for 650 watt pump, not -60 temp.
Measured temp was -8c . (open, no insulation or load.)
