Just now, almost bought a use 7900xtx. The pcb on it was notched to lower the PCIe connectors "down" (if in a regular case), so it mightve worked.

Bugged the guy with several messages about measurements and other Questions... forgot to check the MOST obvious... the GPUs length....

Yep. Like 5mm too long to fit in the case, if I could even bend it around corners to get it in. Felt really bad for the guy.

Guess im throwing it back together with the 3080 for tonight. The hunt resumes tomorrow.

Man I'm dumb sometimes. I blame old age / psrtial insanity / multle personalities / etc haha

Well aware, just a silly mistake. Asked about every other dimension. Just that particular card, is Massive! Again, i did my due diligence, the few people that have built into the case havent really mentioned GPU compatibility problems. Oh well. The search continues.
