Aside from the NES's random blink of death which could be fixed by cleaning and rebending the contact springs has had the best track record when it comes to the hardware side only because their systems are so basic yet complex.

PS1 had the issue of the cd laser wearing out and dropping down and to fix this you'd play your machine upside down.

PS2 had the issue for the longest time of movie playback too dark.

PS3 has the heating issue but if you saw the guts its no wonder! Stick a 120mm fan on the inside of that thing and it'll work awesome.

Xbox had the brick of fire

Xbox 360 has the ring of death

Well even though i was not having the same issues with most people on that link you sent me i opened up that port and connected like nothing. Not sure if it was the D-Link or what but my friends all have Linksys and they didn't have to do that so who know's. But thank you very much for the link and this makes things so much more better. Cheers.:thumb:

Well besides people throwing their Wii-motes into TVs I haven't heard of any problem with the Wii, so it's not fair to say that this whole generation of consoles is plagued by problems.
LOL 1st thing a Wii is not a next-gen console. It's like a glorified gamecube. Don't get me wrong though, a Wii is fun as hell to play, specially if you got a few brews in ya.
