Recycling my old WTB thread. I'm looking for a Nvidia Quadro P1000 long PCI-E bracket. Ebay is selling for $5 with free shipping but may not get here til first week of August. I'm in the Greater Vancouver area.

Must be Vancouver area. Let me know what you got. Right now Costco is selling an AMD 6C/12T machine with 8GB of RAM for $600 before tax. I'm aiming below this price.

I have this laptop. I actually like it. Nice key travel space between the keys. I loaded up 64GB DDR4-3200 RAM, replaced with 2TB 980 Pro and WiFi card with Intel AX210. Running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Rock solid.

Thanks for all the PM guys. Still need to ask my sister what she wants to do. She can't carry something very heavy and she's already carrying an old Macbook Pro for the trip. Since you can't check anything with Li battery into cargo, she would need to hand carry it.

No listings for P1000 but according to ebay listings K1200 NVS510 P400 P1000 P620 T600 T1000 are all compatible with the same bracket so presumably this should fit.

I have no access to a 3D printer. My friend's printer is out of calibration and his PLA is moisture soaked due to him using evaporator fans at his place. And for some reason he say it's a bad idea since PLA will melt in high heat. Unless there's someone in Vancouver area that is willing to print one for me for a reasonable price.
