one of my GTX 1080 Ti's seems to work at half the production of the other four cards.

here's a link to the spec page for this mobo:
https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/H170-PRO-GAMING/specifications/

checking the details on the PCIe expansion slots doesn't say there are any limitations that would indicate why one has lower performance.

at this moment I have all but the top x1 slot closest to the I/O populated with x1 USB risers.

anyone here might have some insight as to what could be going on?

edit - spec's for the rig are:
Intel Pentium Gold 4620
2x 4GB Crucial DDR4 2133mhz RAM
ADATA 120GB M.2 SATA SSD (note on mobo says if M.2 SATA SSD used, SATA port 1 is disabled, so this shouldn't have any influence on PCIe performance)
using onboard HD630 via DP out
5x Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP! (non-extreme) on PCIe x1 USB risers to .008s x16 cards w/SATA input power

Have you tried swiping the cards to see if its the card or the slot?
