Question Worth upgrading now or should I wait? CPU and GPU

I don't keep tabs too much on the driver side of things. The only issue I was concern about getting an AMD card is the lack of compatibility with AI. To be specific, a lot of headaches to get it running. ComfyUI for image and video generation are gear toward CUDA. Otherwise, I would of brought that used AMD Pro card with 32GB of VRAM for $600 instead of $850 for a RTX 3090 with 24GB of VRAM.

In my primary PC I just swapped from a 4080 to a 9070xt. I've noticed absolutely no issues and the change was a breeze. Obviously the driver swap, but that was easy. I've had no issues with any game I've played so far. My Red Devil also runs cooler and quieter than my 4080 did.

Do your research on 9070xt models. They are definitely not all equal. I've held the Asrock Steel Legend and it felt cheap, light and not well built. Meanwhile the Red Devil is very well built, and surprisingly bigger than the 4080. And there's everything in between. Worth getting a model that's reliable, well built, stays cool and doesn't have coil whine.

One thing I will say is that an older 750W PSU may be at the very edge of what you want for a 9070xt. If you find a good sale, that may be an area to update to go with the GPU.
