Quick Q for Lian Li O11 Dynamic / XL owners

I'm still around! In fact, I'm actually starting to gain momentum and motivation and stuff. But that's off topic (or is it? You'll see!)

I saw a photo of a Lian Li O11 Dynamic or Dynamic XL with an Air cooling build and I think it Might, MIGHT be one of those unicorn cases for quad socket motherboards.

So, since no one ever actually measures this in their reviews (or my Google-Fu is weak today), I need an owner of one of these cases to give me an Interior measurement from the top of the IO panel hole to the top of the case.

It's a fairly popular case, so I'm hoping someone around here can stick a ruler in there and come back with a number. Fingers crossed, thanks in advance HWCers!

I don't have mine any more to check for clearances , but should point out that earlier versions of the PC-011 had horrible air cooler clearances. I'm fairly certain they improved that with newer models, but something to keep in mind.

Similar situation to sswilson, I sold mine ages ago. You'd probably want to steer away from the original release as mentioned, it's snug for air coolers. The O11 XL, Air or Evo(?) all resolve that IIRC.

Have you tried emailing Lian-Li? They were really good with getting back to me in the past when I needed to order panel clips.

As always, I'm looking to see if an SSI-MEB motherboard will fit. It is 411 x 330mm, apporx 4inches taller above the IO slot.

I don't think it will fit. I'm measuring 3 1/4" at most between the top of the I/O and the top of the case. There are a few fractions of an inch leeway there depending on where you measure from, but it's definitely a long way from 4".

For reference, my case is an O11 Dynamic EVO. The standard size, not the XL.

Thanks for checking. Any XL owners out there?

I'm making a post for a related topic now.

I bought the one @FreeKnight sold and yes very much air coolers would be hit and miss for tower coolers.

After getting the 7900XTX I had to go as far as buying 180 degree adapters just to be able to put the side panel back on. Otherwise the wires were in the way of putting the side panel back on.

If you need any further measurements from one of the origionals releases I can try to take some time later tonight but as others have mentioned might want to look more for the evos or xl and such.
