Ram help

Hey guys, ive found some ram id like to buy but im not sure if its compatible with my board .
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3L LGA 775 Intel P45 is my mobo
Ive attached a picture of the ram.
Its ddr2 800 pc6400 4x4 gb . Not sure if its amd ram ..

Memory standards have nothing to do with CPU manufacturers. In theory the RAM you mentioned should work however having all 4 banks populated may not work or need to bump the voltage to get it be stable. If you can get a screenshot of been tested (MemTest screenshot) then I would try it.

Oh because ive read somewhere that some ram only work on amd boards. Do you mean ask the seller for a memtest screenshot?

Not sure i really need to upgrade though... Ive been using 8gb with 3dsmax for a while, do you think 16 will help? Im rendering with iray so its more graphics card (CUDA core) heavy which ive just bought a gtx1060 6gb to help. Havent tested it yet cause im waiting for my psu and backplate to be delivered...

There are 2 rows of chips on each side of the dimm and that is called high density ram, Intel platform only works with low density ram.
