Ordered a single new video card for my HTPC, and the order has been stuck for 2 days. And this is my first order for PC parts in quite a while.

I remember when they used to ship like 4-5 hours after your order was placed, and very often I'd get my gear the following day...

I guess they've gone the NCIX way...

It PO's me that everyone thinks ATI has just released the best card EVAR!!!!111!!!!1!!!1!11!oneone!!!111eleven!!!!! with the 58x0 when we haven't even seen what the other side has to offer. If it WASN'T better than last gen cards then they would have a REAL problem. But it really can't be judged until it's put in perspective. For all we know the GTX380 or w/e could be 300% better than GTX285. You shouldn't start shitting your pants until you see all the options.

Eyefinity is a very moot point considering the NEED to use DP. It's still not a mainstream standard and costs a huge premium. HDMI would have been better considering the new 1.4 standard will support 2560x1600 I think.
