Have found out that my external usb nvme enclosure is NOT capable of sustained full speed.

Using that Crucial P5 plus drive in it I'm trying to copy basically a TB of emulation stuff to it. If I just start the copy it fails fairly quickly and the drive disappears. Even have it outside of the enclosure with a fan on it to help but still craps out after a bit.

Using Fastcopy, so played with it a bit and restricted it to 70% speed and it certainly lasted much longer but still crapped out. Now running it at 50% and has managed 100gb so far.

Is it plugged in the front panel or back of the motherboard? Some motherboards cant send enough power to the front.

Fingers crossed they sort it out for you. My Musqvarna is about 18 years old (though 3 years in storage)...knock on wood, the only thing I have had to do in the time is clean a sticking part in the carb, and change the auger belt.
don't you know the first fossil recorded found was a Husqvarna? despite having turned to stone, it fired up and ran with no problems!

I swear, my kitchen sink's hot water supply line must circle the house two or three times before it gets to the hot water tank..... takes forever to get hot water to it. :)

I'm likely going to install a hot water recirculator whenever I redo the kitchen. I probably waste as much water getting hot water ready for the dishwasher than it does for the entire dishwashing cycle.

damn cats! I'm sitting here on the can, cats between my feet purring up a storm, I scratch her head and she spazes out on me, scratches n bites my hand. then sits about a foot from me and returns to purring up a story.

OWWW!!!

I wish people wouldn't get upset at their cats for stuff like this... cats can easily get oversimulated, that's why they can go from purring to biting. Pet slowly, in different areas, and stop once the tail twitches = no more biting

I'm not upset, annoyed yeah, but Skye is very feral...she was as rescued from the side of a road, huddling / shivering in cold rain a couple years back. she knows who people are but never had enough interaction as a kitten to tame up. she's a most interesting cat though...orange tabby (most are always male) and has dark red / amber eyes.

she disliked me until this summer where her peeps went on vaca and I was the only person around to feed and be around. now she almost adores me. :)
