what about the mic volume in Windows audio settings?
there is none I already did the zoom interview the young woman just had to crank up her volume on her end and I then reminded to after the interview to turn it back down so that she doesn't get blasted out of her office lol
on the Windows audio neither is none, the pre win 10 windows I always found it,on win 10 11 neither had it if your using USB for a camera or microphone I think it has to do with the drivers maybe like realtek

I contact my DOc via messaging ap asking what can I do if I cannot afford migraine meds I was actually asking for information on a lower income pharma care he replies with Migraine prescription our expensive otherwise use acetaminophen, Tylenol for the pain , really dont you think that was the first things I tried a decade ago? I wished those would even slightly work but I would have to take a whole bottle and that would only make my stomach upset I need a better Doc I wished that codeine and other pills worked they are much less expensive as it is I pay almost 50 cad for 6 pills and when I sometimes get those migraines they can be daily for a few weeks but then nothing for month

check into flunarizine...started 5mg / day back in 2008 and it changed my life. it's not a pain med like ibuprofen or acetaminophen... it's a preventative.

edit - I've had migraines since I was an infant, so I understand.

well after having no power for the last 14 hrs and talking to the hydroone engineer we will be buying a generator inverter since he told me this is going to keep happening, I am not very happy about it

edit any recommendations on a generator inverter.

what happened Gb? you're quite the diy...have you thought of creating a battery backup solution in your garage? I remember a guy bought a whack load of car batteries and wired them up at a fraction of the cost of the off-the-shelf solutions with a heck of a lot more capacity.

ya I have been looking at a 10kw system for the house or a full backup generator, all of Sophie's landing was out in Orillia which I am on the edgy of, talking to the hydro one engineer he said a power line went down last night in the storm and we have an old grid so it took out a substation when it saw a power spike, but he told me to get some form of backup cause it going to be 10 to 20 years before they get around to upgrading it.

I could build a system but if I want something that will last for many years lead acid IE car batteries are not a good choice, the 10kw system I have been looking at is around 10-20g after all is said and done without adding in solar panels which I would like to do so it more of a long term upgrade, so for now I am looking for a 3000-7000kw inverter generator that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg, I have a little 1500watt unit to run my sump pump just in case but tried using that this morning to power a few things and its voltage drop was too much for many devices

it would make sense to have both...the battery backup being the primary with the generator charging it or, when you flip a switch, puts the house on the generator...or rather, puts certain circuits in the house on the generator since it's unlikely to be big enough for the whole house.

a friend of mine just had a generator put into their place and it can run on three fuels; petroleum, natural gas or propane. makes for a more adaptable device depending on what goes on when shtf.

Ya if I go battery I want to be using solar to power the batteries during the day, I may end up going with a generlink and a generator to power the whole house and turn off circuits I don't want on well the generator is running, just not happy about having to spend money on this type of stuff.

when hydro one purchased Orillia power grid ( we used to have a stand-alone grid in Orillia) they said they were going to fix all of this crap but now there fighting with Orillia Power who still owns the hydro plants about who should pay for what since orillia power lied about how much it would cost, the guy told me this morning in the purchase contract the budget was for 15mill but the grid needs closer to 60-90mill to fix all the problems, so I was told it wont happen any time soon and I should get a backup power source for my house. 🤪🤦‍♂️🙄
