I was thinking about this after our short discussion. I cannot think of a reason why "Off" would even be an option if you have automatic ones. Even if the sensor gets stuck "On" other than looking like an idiot with your lights on in the middle of the day I can't think of a safety reason why that would be bad. Dusk maybe? If it fails off you can still manually turn them on.
That makes sense, though you shouldn't be idling /hidesI use the "off" position on my Impala while I'm waiting for my better half to finish a late shift... I park facing the store's exit door and don't want to blind folks as they come out.
The Impala's system is pretty much the way Sagath described... I can turn it off while in Park, but the system turns them back on as soon as I shift out of park.
Yeah that is not a bad idea actually.I do like the idea of lights working more like traction control. Defaults to on and to turn it off have to press and hold a button for several seconds.
Yeah. This is normal as mentioned before. I have had several cars with Auto now and they all do this. Its just hysteresis for shadows. If it was uber sensitive every tree you drove under would kick them on then off then on then off and you would essentially be flashing other drivers which has meaning... or should (not that people do it much anymore).
I actually find the Mazda system can be a bit over sensitive lol. I guess it depends on what your doing. We don't have tunnels here.
Its Santa mail disruppting the carriers not enough elvesHeh, I guess Canada Post is just messed up nation-wide then...

On Dec 4 it was at the usual place where it would then say "out for delivery" as the Scarborough depot is the closest to me. Instead they decided to send it out to Oshawa where it's remained now...
Thankfully I don't need this order at the moment as it's just some cables, but it will be funny if the SFP modules from China arrive before this does.
hehe "I think I may do something I haven't done in decades...have a bath" Wow that s a long time without a bath I usually bath then shower off quickly maybe watch it though because bathing can increase the temperature of your body . I read somewhere that most sickness that we call colds are not they are actually from virus's that have nothing to do with the common cold like a dirty counter then someone puts food on it or a person that has a virus coughs in there hands gets in a elevator or opens a door at a mall other people touch what they could then ich there eye or touch there mouth catch the virus. I hate being sick especially when the head gets stuffy and then I cant breath through my nose eyes clog up a little yuk it sucks when working I use the alcohol things at the door the issue is I think that people think that I am drinking on the job loljust came down with a cold...probably got it from the wife, who likely got it from the son-in-law who's recovering from pneumonia.
odd thing...it took almost a week for my wife to show symptoms and sound like she has a cold. me, it was overnight...throat was tingling when I went to bed and woke up with a full blow cold.
I think I may do something I haven't done in decades...have a bath. hate the thought of 'stewing in my own juices' so have had showers for as long as I can remember!!!
colds are viral and when you have a cold you are usually running a slight temperature. keeping warm and drinking hot fluids and such raises your temperature and makes it easier on the body to fight the bug as its not working on running the temperature as hard.hehe "I think I may do something I haven't done in decades...have a bath" Wow that s a long time without a bath I usually bath then shower off quickly maybe watch it though because bathing can increase the temperature of your body .
