Sorta, but not quite. If they're delaying one shipment (like mine) to get all the essential stuff out the door, then they should be delaying ALL non-essential orders until the workload calms down. At that point, it should revert to fulfilling the oldest orders first.
It just really really doesn't make sense that some people have ordered non-essentials after me and already have tracking numbers or have even gotten their shipments already. I still have *nothing*, not even a tracking number.
The fulfillment thing is a good point, but I also make a point to check that "prime" box whenever I'm on Amazon. Everything that falls under the prime category is *supposed* to be ready for super fast shipping and processing, even next-day fulfillment sometimes. And that was exactly how it worked Before Amazon implemented these "measures". Everything I ever ordered with that prime box checked would take a maximum of 24hrs for a tracking#, and a maximum of 3-4 days to receive the shipment.
It just doesn't make sense and frankly isn't fair.
