I do plan to buy one of these shortly to replace my current RPi 3b+ for my htpc/kodi box. Now I'll have two older RPis (3b+ and 2b+) that'll be collecting dust as I don't know what I'd do with them.
did you have any heat issues using Kodi I did when I touched the raspi 3 b it was hot I mean really hot

Nope no issues, I have however put on those stick on heat sinks mainly to help with temperatures the very odd time I've done a new 'install' and it needs to talk to Emby connect for a bit.

There was the pi3 watercooling kit that I eyeballed for a while, not because I needed it but simply because well liquid cooled raspberry pi kinda speaks for itself. I gotta say though that cooler looks a little more convenient and it looks small enough to still fit within a 1u enclosure without the hassle of pumps and everything else.

Wish I kept some of those awesome Northbridge coolers from a decade+ ago. Something like a Thermalright HR-05 would do a pretty awesome job on a Pi.

do you think that those north bridge cooler would fit\work? your talking about the Pentium days right? I might have a couple around somewhere in a box I am grabbing a pi4 when they do come out the heat is the reason why I gave away my pi3b+ mind you it was OCed also had the simple tiny heat sinks on it.
I also didnt car ee for the sd card and wanted to use an old SSd but never could figure out how to use that for the main OS.

They could probably be made to work... the only one I've still got kicking around is a passive one I did a review on in the early days of the site...
