Recomendation on DDR2-800MHz 2GB set

They might not have updated their list yet. I believe you should be able to put in a request to see if your mobo is compatible.

This Memory also comes with a lifetime warranty. And if you have to RMA it you will have a new product by the next day.
I would never buy ram without a lifetime warranty. He-he
Sounds like some nice stuff how about a little user review when you get it?

:thumb: Will do but it won't be for quite some time yet. Need to get the rest of the parts to build the system first.

Does anyone here know how far the XTC platinum PC-6400 can be pushed? So far, my oc is rock stable 854mhz at 2v. I'm afraid to push it any further until I can get my hands on the ocz ram cooler and increase the voltage. I'd rather not see my ram crash and burn. I know most oc's are different depending on mb/ram combinations, I'm just looking for a ballpark figure. I don't even know if this would be considered a good oc.

You will not kill a kit of ram with 2.0v. I wouldn't go above 2.3v without a proper cooler though. I usually just use a 120mm fan and mount it so that it continually blows air at the modules.

Platinum usually overclocks quite well, so DDR2-900 at least should be plenty possible, maybe with 2.1v with 4-4-4-12 timings. I can't speak that much about it though, I've never touched that particular kit.
