Wow, never though that cyberpower would be so much recommended 😅

Thank you guys, the choice is obvious 👌
I actually have a mix of Cyberpower and APC, so you can count at least one vote for the latter. APC is really solid stuff and pretty much the only company I ever saw professionally. Yep, the biggest UPS I ever saw was a massive daisy chain of industrial APC rack units, so I think it's fair to say their products are good too 👍

MY APC is so old I should replace its batteries too, is it as simple as going to their site to buy batteries or can I go to my local brick and mortar totalbattery.com and just get them there?

Depends on the model, but in my experience USB batteries are just 'off the shelf' varieties you can find at your local Battery World or similar.

You can get them anywhere really.
Just note that some of them require a bit of work to dismantle the old cartridge and reuse. Some also have fused bridging connectors that you take off.

I.e. the BR1500 series has them put together into a 'kit' with a big connector that wires both battery cells together.
Just get your hot air gun out, remove the glue and other stuff and dismantle and reassemble with new batteries and some 2-sided tape.

The bigger APC units you can pull the front off 'live' by putting the unit into Bypass mode and swap them that way. Those ones are usually less of a pain to service.

I have an old Eaton Powerware that a member here gave to me for the cost of shipping a lonnnng time ago. It's gone through a few battery changes but it's still doing its thing. Can't remember who it was for the life of me. I'd recommend one.
