Was thinking of getting some O-rings, and there are of course oodles on Amazon at various prices.

Is an O-ring just an O-ring, go with the cheapest, or are there ones you more experienced folks would recommend?

I actually bought 4 different types of O rings to try on my keyboard just before my flood happened. Can try to find them and give them a shot if you want.

Yes they were expensive ha. Glorious model G40 thick & thin, and G70 thick & thin.

Yeah the Glorious ones on Amazon are in the higher price range for sure.

I didn't feel like searching though tiny e-tailers for them, and specifically wanted to get several different types from the same manufacturer. 🤷‍♂️

It's also a medical thing for me, someday my fingers and hands are going to hurt even more, so anything I can find that will help, I buy.

So, am I finding them and giving them a shot?

Always appreciate your input, but no pressure. You have a lot of balls in the air right now!

I'll do some YouTube roaming too, but just wondered if people here are using them and what brand/size/etc they prefer.

I might get them for home too, but at work I found a TKL Ducky One that someone had abandoned. I like the feel of it considering I use mechanical at home, but not sure coworkers will love the sound of it! Might be why it was abandoned ;) A custom keyboard of any type is a rare find in my workplace so I'd like to use it without annoying everyone else!

I'll try out a few in the next days (assuming I don't forget) and report back. Shouldn't be a big problem to put four on WSAD just to try out

I bought some of those @SugarJ and gave them a go.

It was a mind-numbing hour, and I think I found a whole other cat living in my keyboard :) but I have to say it was worth it! I am actually a little surprised at how noticeable the difference is. I like the slight rubbery bump at the bottom, and it makes the keys feel heavier in a way. Deadens the sound a bit too, I think more of a "thwonk" as they say, although I never minded the sound.

Anyway, thanks! I am pleased!
