Yes, sadly it's getting worse. Just saw a prediction that we're headed for a much hotter summer than normal across a lot of Canada - you might want to prepare now:

Also the book I read a while ago points out that we're in trouble since we can't cool down under a lot of conditions:

Imagine living long enough to experience the turn around from this fiasco we humans are putting our planet through!
Ah to dream......

That's pretty bad when a wetland catches fire. Reminiscent of trying make sense of events like when the Cayuga River in Ohio caught fire (several times)... I started rereading The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death on a Scorched Planet, since the temps may hit 90℉/ 32℃ or higher in some areas in the east.
