I've got the thermal Grizzly tim coming in tomorrow (thermal pads have already arrived), but just the standard tim and not the bubble gum.

That's my starting point.... not sure how big of a difference it's going to make, but I'll be happy if I can bring the hot spot max down by 10 to 15c.
My Hotspot was getting up to those numbers before I took it apart. As you said earlier it sure would be nice to know exactly which part is getting that hot.

Are those temps on air or under water? That's some crazy low load temps if it's on air....
@Jokester yes I second this question :) My 7900 XT reference does better than my 6900 XT reference did for temps, the older card was a bit scary, but nothing as low as what you're seeing that for sure!

Liquid, be hard pressed to get those kinds of temps with air i would imagine 😅

Heh.... yeah, when I first looked at them I didn't put much thought into what I was seeing and in the back of my mind assumed you were posting idle temps.

I did a bit of a double take this afternoon when I looked back to compare them to what I'm currently seeing (repaste done and I'm cycling to cure it). :)
