Oh I have a putty or those green Kraken pads that have a 27kw/h rating as well.

Get a measurement tool and measure thickness of the existing pads:

I use GP Extereme pads (thickness varies, make sure you select right ones):

NOTES:
1. You can use both ends of measure tool to measure thermal pads thickness:

2. When I redo thermal pads I measure the distance in "groups" of chips and just cut a chuck covering all those memory chips. If my memory serves me right the memory chip size is 14x12 (mm) or 14x10 (mm), but you can measure it.

I usually stack up on all available sizes and have at least 3 of each as a CYA:
0.5mm
1.0mm
2.0mm
2.5mm
3.0mm

Gigabyte used to use thinner pads such as 0.5mm and 1.0mm. Also EVGA uses some weird sizes for their pads, but they are awesome - you can email them and you can buy them directly from EVGA.

Cheers!

I do the same because I can use other thinner sizes for Nvme as well lol I got this exact tool for this very reason as GPUs can have 1-3mm in random places.
